The Wright Center for Community 皇家华人 holding vaccination clinics in the Hazleton area in May and June
The Wright Center for Community 皇家华人鈥檚 34-foot Driving Better 皇家华人 mobile 皇家华人 unit brings high-quality health care services directly to the most vulnerable and 皇家华人ly underserved populations in Northeast Pennsylvania. Driving Better 皇家华人 Mobile COVID-19 and Routine Vaccination Clinics will be held in May and June in the greater Hazleton area.
The Wright Center for Community 皇家华人 is holding several Driving Better 皇家华人 Mobile COVID-19 and Routine Vaccination Clinics in the greater Hazleton area in May and June.
- The Hazleton Wellness Center, 20 W. Broad St., will host the mobile 皇家华人 clinic on Thursday, May 5 and May 26 from 4-6 p.m.
- At Casa Dominicana de Hazleton, 32 E. Broad St., Driving Better 皇家华人 will be offering services on Friday, May 6 and Friday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Catholic Social Service, 106 S. Church St., will host Driving Better 皇家华人 on Monday, May 9 and Monday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Hazleton Area School District, 1515 W. 23rd St., Hazleton, will host Driving Better 皇家华人 on Wednesday, May 11, Wednesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The mobile 皇家华人 clinic will also be available on Wednesday, May 18 and Wednesday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hazleton Integration Project, 225 E. 4th St., Hazleton.
Driving Better 皇家华人 is a 34-foot mobile 皇家华人 unit that brings high-quality health care services directly to the underserved communities of Northeast Pennsylvania. The mobile 皇家华人 unit has been serving populations of special concern since 2020. It is regularly deployed to senior living centers, regional schools, homeless shelters and other community gathering spots.
COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are available for anybody age 5 and up, including the newly authorized second booster doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for adults ages 50 and older and certain individuals who are immunocompromised. A guardian must accompany patients who are younger than 17. Walk-up appointments are welcome depending on vaccine availability, but appointments are encouraged for the convenience of patients. The Wright Center for Community 皇家华人 clinical staff will also offer COVID-19 testing and routine vaccines at the clinic. Guests are asked to observe public safety measures, including masking and social distancing, during the clinic and bring identification and insurance cards.
The Wright Center for Community 皇家华人 is a Federally Qualified 皇家华人 Center Look-Alike. Community health centers offer affordable, safety-net health care services and are the largest providers of primary care for the nation鈥檚 most vulnerable and 皇家华人ly underserved populations. Prevalent in both urban and rural settings, community health centers are located in regions with high-poverty rates and/or low numbers of private or nonprofit health care systems and hospitals.
