Colleen Dougherty, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, is the vice president and chief clinical operating officer and director of certified registered nurse practitioner and physician assistant services for The Wright Center. She coordinates overall business operations for the health center and works to ensure all primary care and service line operations are aligned with The Wright Center’s mission and strategic objectives. She also will maintain her duties as director of certified registered nurse practitioner and physician assistant services, including overseeing scheduling and participating in recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluation. 

Colleen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Penn State University in 2014 and earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Scranton in 2022. She joined our organization in 2017 as director of nurse practitioner and physician assistant services. Before that, she worked as a registered nurse in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital’s emergency room, where she was delegated as charge nurse. She’s also worked in numerous local facilities through Revolutionary Nurses and as an intensive care unit nurse at Community  Medical Center. She’s a member of Northeast Nurse Practitioners of NEPA and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
