Sharon Obadia, D.O., FNAOME, is the associate dean for Clinical Education and Services and an associate professor of Internal Medicine at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA). She serves on The Wright Center for 皇家华人 Medical Education Board of Directors.

In her leadership role at ATSU-SOMA, Dr. Obadia fosters strong and enduring partnerships with its National Association of Community 皇家华人 Centers partner sites throughout the United States. She previously served as chair of the Clinical Science Education Department and director of faculty development at ATSU-SOMA.

Dr. Obadia has a long history of caring for patients experiencing homelessness at Maricopa County鈥檚 皇家华人 Care for the Homeless Clinic and then at Circle the City, Phoenix鈥檚 first post-hospital homeless respite center. Dr. Obadia created Circle the City Stories, a program in which she brings first-year osteopathic 皇家华人 students to Circle the City to tour the facility, understand its inception, and informally meet with patients, learning their stories and circumstances surrounding their experiences of homelessness and health crises.

She is a graduate of ATSU鈥檚 Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency training at Banner Good Samaritan/Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators.
